Hi,Thanks for getting back to me.To be honest, I had forgotten I had posted this thread, as I managed to sort my problem out. After paying a couple of online companies for a 'supposed' hack, neither of which were for my model as it turned out when the documentation arrived, I decided to try another approach. For £20 including first class postage (it arrived the very next day), I was able to purchase a 'one time hack remote' from a small company called. This is a small PCB with a small chip and an infrared eye that is keyed to your specific make and model. It took less that 5 mins in total from start to finish, and gave me a full multi-region dvd recorder. Some people may baulk at spending twenty quid, but if you have already spent two hundred quid etc. On your recorder, it is a small price for what it achieves, and i can say it works beautifully.Anyhow, thanks for you help, your efforts are still appreciated. Please note that I have nothing to do with apart from being a very happy and pleased customerThanks. That remote you listed is now hard to get, how do I use the commands with this URC-6690B00 OFA Kameleon 6-device Hybrid Remote?I am trying to unlock a Panasonic DMR-EZ28. It has a memory bank to accept commands from 3 remotes - it will accept operations from any remote that transmits the correct sequence for a sustained 5 seconds. This eliminates the use of quick hacks, does it?I have a different DVD-player that I use regularly (Shinco 868) as the main player, but I want to pack the Panasonic for conventions, as they are cheap on eBay.
